Every year on September 11th, we remember the lives that were lost on that tragic day. This year, on Saturday, September 11th, we invite you to come help give life through giving blood. Community Blood Centers of the Carolinas will be here at StoneBridge in the fellowship hall from 8am to 12:30pm next Saturday. Please contact Brent at church at (704) 549-8272 x236 or bjones@stonebridgecharlotte.com to reserve your spot. Our local blood centers only have a 2-3 day supply of blood on hand at any one time, so each donation is essential. Thanks in advance for your help in meeting this critical need!
Someone you know may be hurting. It is hard to know how to help someone who is on a pathway of separation or divorce. This pathway requires time and work to manage the breakup of a marriage and to heal the pain. DivorceCare is a special weekly seminar and support group for people who are separated or divorced. If someone you know needs help make sure that they know about DivorceCare which will meet from 6:45 – 8:15 Wednesdays, September 8th - December 8th. Many at StoneBridge consider their Life Group to be essential to their spiritual health. This is true because small groups are so helpful in obtaining what God so wants to give us - true life in Christ! Of course, this doesn’t happen automatically, but if you will join others and share, listen, pray, serve, participate and love you should expect to find yourself connected to a loving, trustworthy group of people that supports and encourages one another, discovering more and more the blessing of living your life to the glory of God and the service of others!
If you would like to join a Life Group we invite you to sign up this coming Sunday! Just fill out the information requested on the back of the insert and place it in the offering basket during the service. A Life Group leader will contact you by the end of the month and invite you to join them in the awesome journey of discovering true life in Jesus Christ!

StoneBridge Children’s Ministry is looking for volunteers for the 2010/2011 school season – all age groups, both hours, weekly or bi-weekly, teachers, helpers and small group leaders. No experience is necessary, just a desire to serve our Lord and influence the next generation for Christ. Volunteer needed to come in for one hour weekly on Thursday afternoon or Friday am to prepare for Sunday am. Duties include: fill water pitchers & snack containers, classroom setup, etc.
